NFD have over the last 20 to 30 years trained many actors who have gone on to do well with ongoing careers in acting, these are just a few of them
COLSON SMITH
Colson was initially trained by NFD in NFD’S 3D soap opera Platform2c as Rebel Teenager Adam Concus before later appearing in the feature films Hollows Wood and Jailhouse Dog. He then made his mark on the cobbles of Coronation Street as character Craig Tinker.
KIMBERLEY WALSH
Has starred in the TV Series, This is Personal, and Comedy film, Horrid Henry, to name just a few. Kimberley is also famous for being part of the hugely successful Girl Band, Girls Aloud.
AMY WALSH
Made her mark in the village of Emmerdale as main character Tracey Shankley.
SAM JACKSON
Part of Alex in the hit Drama Series Skins
He has also appeared in Emmerdale, Drifters, Holby City, The Syndicate, Henry & Sunny
JESSICA BARDEN
Most recently played the part of Liddy in far from the Madding Crowd due for release 2015. Played Jody Long in the comedy film Tamara Drewe. As well as appearing In Hanna as Sophie
Jessica has also Played the parts of Kayleigh in Coronation Street 2007, Mary Ratcliffe in Mrs Ratcliffe’s revolution 2007, Amy in The Chase 2006, My Parents are Aliens 2005, Lucy in No Angels 2004.
ANDREA LOWE
Over the years, has had numerous parts in TV and Film. Andrea has more recently starred in Coronation Street, DCI Banks, Route Irish, to name but a few.
LEE OTWAY
Well known for playing the part of Bombhead, in the popular soap, Hollyoaks.
JOE PASQUALE
Is famous for his unique voice and being a top comedian. He has been a regular on the pantomime circuit over the years and has taken part in several variety performances. Joe was in Reality series, “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” and has been the voice of The Rat, in Garfield II.
