Through decades of hands-on experience, we’ve mastered the art of guerrilla filmmaking: creating professional-quality films with minimal crews, tiny budgets, and limited equipment. Our Guerrilla Filmmaking Course teaches you the proven techniques, shortcuts, and creative problem-solving methods we developed to make films on a budget without Hollywood resources.

During that time we have taught many young people the ropes to film making and many of those people now have very rewarding careers in the film and TV industry. We have been asked so many times to put on a film making course but have never until now done so. Its aim will be to teach the student everything they need to know to start film making on a limited budget. We will use our many years of film making experience coupled with the various techniques, shortcuts and tips we have learned and developed over the years to help students get out and start making films in next to no time.

Location: NFD Studios, South Milford, LS25 5AR
Software/Equipment: DaVinci Resolve (v20+) with Blackmagic colour decks and editing boards. Professional Filming Equipment including sound, lighting, rigs and cameras.
Age Requirement: All welcome 16 to 60..

When?
Coming January 26th 2026 will be the first film and TV film making course which is open initially only to those over 16, but later we will look at a young film makers course as well.

What equipment do I need?
We will provide the equipment you need in the classroom, but if you have a mac or laptop capable of running Davinci Resolve 20 then you are more than welcome to bring it along. When we do the camera sections if you want to bring your own cameras and or phones with decent cameras along, you are very welcome to, particularly if you would like to learn how to get more out of it.
